Wheel-Thrown Pottery: 7-Week Studio Course with Kent Harris

Join full-time professional potter Kent Harris for a hands-on, 7-week wheel-throwing course designed for all skill levels from total beginners to experienced potters. Over the course, each student will create up to 15 finished stoneware pieces, guided through every step from centering clay to trimming, glazing, and final firing.

You’ll work with high-quality stoneware clay (included) and finish your pieces using 10 unique, studio-made glazes. All work is fired in a large gas-fired kiln to cone 10-11, producing rich, durable, and beautifully varied surfaces.

Whether you’re re exploring pottery for the first time or deepening your practice, this class offers expert instruction, a supportive environment, and the satisfaction of bringing your own pieces to life.
